Welcome to the homepage of Dr. Austin Dreyer. I am currently a postdoctocal scholar in the lab of Dr. Daniel Cavanaugh at Loyola University of Chicago (LUC). Here in the Windy City the Cavanaugh lab studies circadian rhythms using Drosophila melanogaster. My overall research foci include how feeding and metabolism are related, particularly in the context of circadian rhythms. While at LUC I have also been lucky enough to continue bolstering my teaching chops in Introductory Biology lecture and lab courses. Read more about my research interests and teaching experience.
